There is an etch “1799” in the remained stone base; it is attributed to the first reconstructions of the GUBERNIJA brewery.
After the third Lithuania – Poland division, Lithuania becomes a part of Russian Empire. By the grace of Queen Catherine II, the lands of Siauliai estate went to her minion count Platon Zubov. The name of Zubov opens a new page in the history of the GUBERNIJA estate.
Until 1795 the minor of Gubernija with the brewery belonged to the Royal Table and was rented together with the Siauliai estate to different noblemen.
In 1786 the inventory of the brewery came to an end. A detailed 825 page description of the Gubernija brewery remained in the estate inventory of Siauliai, which was finished by the 1st of July, 1786 says:
